Weekly Update Post For Thursday, April 26, 2018

Last week I promised a doozy of a post today and, if I do say so myself, I deliver! Haha. Let's get started!

Before you even step inside the store - you're going to want to walk through our "yard sale." I've taken photos of a few of the items included in the sale (please note: NONE of our outdoor furniture is part of the yard sale - even though it's sitting by the yard sale items). Most of the pieces are priced $20 or less (a LOT less) and you have to take whatever you buy with you at time of purchase (sorry, no space to hold furniture for our normal "pickup in one week" policy).

If you're a creative sort, a DIYer, or someone who needs some storage in your basement or garage and don't want to spend much money - then you're going to wanna stroll through and take a look at the fairly large inventory we have out in the yard sale!

As I came in the side door from outside a number of rugs caught my eye. Take a look:

Also in "bedroom land" a few pieces I wanted to share:

two beautiful Aspen Home pieces. One three drawer small dresser/nightstand has an outlet in the top drawer (so super convenient to charge electronics). Priced $175.
Matching one drawer nightstand for $145. Both are in excellent condition

two matching American of Martinville retro pieces. Both need a lot of cleaning, sanding and re-staining (you can see in the last photo how the stain has come off the long rod handles on the chest). The long, low dresser is priced $65 and the tall chest of drawers is $95

And then as you come through into the main part of the store (from bedroom land) - oh my goodness! - it feels so much more open and inviting! We've created a "store within a store" where you'll find most of our "smalls" (see Debby on a ladder filling up the shelves? Thanks for all you do, Deb!). There's also less clutter by the register. Most of our dining room furniture is now where we typically had desks and the desks have migrated to the back of the store along with our display of "odd" chairs. All things to make it easier for you to both see our inventory and shop. Tons of kudos to Connie, Beth and the rest of our design team (and all the warehouse guys who had to move everything!)!

Finally, I want to show you some individual pieces which are especially noteworthy!

amazing glass and wood coffee table - measures 54" x 43 1/2" - priced $225

lovely sofa - needs some spot cleaning - priced $95

neat side cabinet that has a tray on top that lifts off -
priced $85 and in very good condition

beautiful Hekman oak media cabinet - even a place to store your vinyl records!
Priced $125

and then look at this cool old "file" cabinet - priced $85

I THINK this is a three seater version of the Room & Board Beckett sofa (that, apparently, they don't make any more). The Beckett retails for $1,599. Our price? $445 and it's in
very good condition (just needs some fluffing/adjusting)

super nice sleeper sofa - deep eggplant color - priced $195

lovely side chair for $45

though definitely wear and fading on all three of these leather pieces - it's that "distressed" look that I think is attractive (though I understand everyone might not agree).
Loveseat is priced $125; chair $95 and sofa $145

excellent condition Max Home one arm loveseat - priced $165

though a little wobbly - this is the SWEETEST rocker! Priced $35

this is a SIX piece sectional. One end has a chaise and the other end a wall hugger recliner. I spied a tear in the back of the recliner piece (second photo - looks like the number 7)
otherwise in good condition and priced $295

lovely old dining table (measures 38" by 62") with two pull out "leaves" on each end (17" each) and six chairs (two with arms) for $395, Matching one piece china cabinet for $245 and buffet for $295. All beautiful carved oak! Some wear and dings in the wood

though the upholstery on the chairs of this Wambold Fine Furniture set need to be cleaned - this is a solid table (gorgeous wood top!) with two leaves and six chairs (two with arms) and priced $225. The table - in the above photo has both leaves inserted - measures 42" wide by 7' long (again that includes both 18" leaves). The two piece, lighted china cabinet is priced $195 and it's in excellent condition

So, dear reader - call/text your friend who has a truck or large van and plan on meeting at ASAP (store opens at 10 am) to see all the incredible deals! Take care!
