Weekly Update Post For Thursday, July 26, 2018

You'll not find a single mention of all our amazing outdoor and casual furniture from THE MERCHANDISE MART in today's post. Not because we've sold it all - actually there's still an incredible inventory of never-been-used pieces at prices easily 1/5th of retail (or more) - but because there's so much to share from INSIDE the store that I didn't have time/phone battery to go OUTSIDE! Ha!

Every now and then I like to take photos starting in the BACK of the store since typically by the time I get there I've already taken over 100 photos and figure there's a limit to what anyone wants to look at/read about in a single post.

Remember the following are a small selection of our current inventory. So, let's take a look at what caught my eye this week!

we have a new-ish relationship with a local shipping/warehouse company that I'm so grateful for! They call us to donate (on behalf of the manufacturer) any items where the customer has changed their mind or if something was damaged in transit (and it's usually something fairly minor). This Stein World desk from their Astor collection is one such item. You can see the slight damage to the front left corner in my last photo. The cheapest I found this desk online is for $455.38.

We're selling ours for $195! The desk measures 29" x 56"

scattered throughout this post are a number of pieces recently donated to us from OneWorld. All merk new AND nothing damaged! Wow! Here's a beautiful world globe priced $20

this is a GORGEOUS Hooker desk with leather inserts on the top. I can't find this exact piece but here's something similar by Hooker that retails for $2,069. Our's measures 3' x 6' and is priced $625

it doesn't look like Pottery Barn carries this Aris desk any longer - but I love the clean lines of it! There's some wear along the front and some nicks - but overall in very good condition.

here's ANOTHER amazing desk! This time by Sligh and it measures 32" x 64" and it's in excellent condition and also has leather inserts on the top. Here's a similiar piece (I actually like our simpler style better) that retails for $3,429. We're selling this one for $625

we're selling these three Walter E. Smithe pieces separately - but they match (that's probably obvious and I didn't need to tell you!) and would provide a ton of storage and look amazing all together if you have the room. The lower "media" cabinet measures 20" by 73" and stand 3' from floor to top. It's priced $165. The two lighted cabinets have adjustable shelves and measure 12" by 32 1/2" and are 80" tall and are priced $125 each. All three pieces are in excellent condition!

FANTASTIC Spak & Natovich desk for $55 and measures 34" x 5'

we have a bunch (sorry, I didn't count the number of boxes!) of these OneWorld glass pendants (they're hardwired NOT plug in) and are selling them for $40 each

I THINK this is another donation from our shipping/warehouse friends. White leather sofa by Palliser priced $495 and there's some small puncture marks on the arm and one small, slight stain on the left side seat cushion. Matching loveseat looks pristine and is priced $345

glass and metal coffee table (measures 34" x 54") for $145

wonderful Stickley merk sofa - looked to be in really excellent condition (designed to look sorta pucker-y) but when I lifted the cushion to look for a label I spied pet hair (FYI - but could see none on the upholstery of the sofa so that's kinda weird). Priced $255

lovely Heritage sofa in excellent condition and priced $195

this is a really neat gas fireplace (has to be hooked up to a gas source to work) that's priced $95. The statue on top is actually very firmly attached and part of the fireplace

(I tried super hard to pry it off and it ain't going anywhere)
