Welcome!

Before showing you some of our current inventory I wanted to let you know you'll be seeing more of an already familiar face - Connie Kluckman! Connie (and her husband, Tim) has been an integral part of our Board since our inception - over 12 years ago and has been our Saturday store manager for a long time (though also volunteered other days too). Connie will be adding another two days a week and "officially" be our Store Operations Manager - working alongside other fantastic staff and a large number of amazing volunteers!

So, here's a quick rundown of some of our personnel in the store and warehouse:

Joel Jara (both "J"s are pronounced as "H"s) - Warehouse Manager
Gary William - Assistant Warehouse Manager

Again, there are a host of other faces you'll see at the store and in the warehouse - every one of them an important part of helping you feel welcomed and wanting to make your shopping experience at a positive one!

And what might you find at the store today? I thought you'd never ask! Let's take a look:

GORGEOUS Bassett sofa in excellent condition - priced $295

this is a PRISTINE Marge Carson "Bacall" chair! Upholstered in a gorgeous ultra-suede fabric. It's incredible AND it's on wheels so moves easily! Priced $225

AMAZING Walter E. Smithe two piece flat screen entertainment center. Holds up to a 65" flat screen TV. Has lots of storage and is simply a stunning piece of furniture. Piano hinges make sure the doors open easily and fold back completely so as not to get in the way when watching TV. Priced $495

four piece BLUE (looks black on my computer screen - but it's blue) leather sectional. One piece is an armless chair that can be added (or removed) to either side (does that make sense?). Excellent condition (are you getting the picture we have a LOT of excellent condition pieces this week?!). Priced $365. Glass top coffee table is priced $55

another excellent condition sofa - this time a lovely neutral upholstery

from Walter E. Smithe - priced $225

side chair and ottoman - you guessed it - in excellent condition for $85.

Matching chair for $70 (and also in excellent condition)

Pearson chair and ottoman - has a slight discoloration on the ottoman (last photo) but otherwise in excellent condition (sorry - but it's true) - priced $175

it's hard to photograph checked fabric - but this is a wonderful rust and tan checked chair and ottoman - priced $95 and a matching loveseat for $125. All in very good condition

though this table and these chairs are a very good match - they actually aren't a set. The table is by Ethan Allen - measures 44" wide by 6' long and come with two 20" leaves. The top has some blemishes on it but I loved the turned legs! Priced $95. TEN Thomasville dining chairs - eight of them wood backs, two with arms and have upholstered backs -

very good condition and are priced $495 for all ten!

I mentioned last week I try to provide links to pieces to show retail value and this week a number of the things we have don't have online pricing (you have to "request a quote" which always means it's too expensive - at least that's what I think!). Anyway - I can't find these exact chairs by Mattaliano - but here's a similar one (again - no pricing online). The upholstery on these four Mattaliano chairs is amazing - I don't know how to describe it! Sort of like a waxed grass materiel

(that sounds awful and the fabric is anything but!). Priced $225 for all four

oh man! This is another stunning piece in excellent condition! Drexel Heritage two piece

lighted cabinet (I'm not calling it a china cabinet because it can be used for so much

MORE than just china!). LOVE the black and stained wood! Priced $295 and

measures 67" across by 19" deep and stands 7'6" tall

Ashley Furniture sofa in good condition for $65.

Two large throw pillows are $20 each

GORGEOUS floral Henredon loveseat in - you guessed it! -

EXCELLENT condition! Priced $125

this is a REALLY COOL wood coffee table (measures 47 1/2" x 41 1/2")

that hasn't been priced yet. Sorry! But it's so lovely that I had to show it to you!

two piece sofa/chaise - the end opposite the chaise is a wall hugging recliner. Some purple marker on the front bottom of the sofa part (last photo) and some general wear too. Priced $95

too bad about the fading along the top of this Baker sofa! Wonderful "crushed" velour upholstery - other than the fading in good condition (though I did see some pet hair too). Priced $195

this Legacy sofa from the Richard Honquest Barrington store is AMAZING! Patchwork of different materials and colors! I'm sure it was EXPENSIVE new but - bantalan - a kitty cat scratched the heck out of every corner of this piece! So sad - BUT due to that we've priced the piece only $45!

incredibly lovey green and tan sofa - I THINK there's some discoloration on one back cushion (last photo) but otherwise a really beautiful piece! Priced $75

5' round, beveled glass top dining table for $245 - very good condition (LOVE the base of the table especially!). Six Drexel Heritage dining chairs - in excellent condition - priced $295 for all six

four American Drew dining chairs - two with arms, two without -

very good condition - priced $175

three - two piece wine racks/shelving units. Room for 24 bottles of wine in each lower cabinet and wine glass holder in the top piece! Priced $75 for one top and one bottom set AND in very good condition! Both pieces together measure: 18" wide by 13 3/4" deep and stand 70" tall

other than some wear on the leather on one of the headrests - this is a gorgeous sectional! It's from Value City - their St. Malo collection and is six pieces - which means you can configure this in so many different ways! One piece is a recliner - that recline manually (lever on the side) and the two "end" pieces are electric recliners (push a button to recline or return to an upright position).
